Gin & Lemon Gelato

Ingredients

  • 1kg of Colac Neutral White Base (SGC1006P)
  • 3kg Whole Milk
  • 100g Colac Lemon Paste (SGF1808)
  • 24g Gin Flavour Bursts (SCF1200)* * adjust the quantity of gin flavour to suit your taste

Refreshing, sweet and zesty - this lemon gin gelato recipe makes a creamy and sumptuous ice cream that will tempt lemon sorbet lovers and gin fans alike! 

How to Make Lemon Gin Gelato:

  1. Heat the milk (70-85°c) 
  2. Add the Colac neutral gelato base and blend for 2+ minutes 
  3. Allow to cool, add the gin flavour burst and lemon flavour paste and blend 
  4. Then churn, decorate and store as you would normally 

Enjoyed this recipe? Our recipe uses a non-alcoholic gin flavouring, so it's suitable for all ice cream lovers, but you could swap it for your preferred brand of gin. Just be sure to reduce the milk by however much liquid you add.
