Amaretto Gelato

Ingredients

  • 1kg of Colac Neutral White Base (SGC1006P)
  • 3kg Whole Milk
  • 75ml Amaretto (SCL166 or SCL166B)

Method

There's nothing more Italian than gelato, except maybe Amaretto flavoured gelato. Add a warming splash of almond-flavoured concentrated alcohol to your recipe for a nutty but nice amaretto ice cream!

How to Make Amaretto Gelato:

  1. Heat the milk (70-85°c) 
  2. Add the Colac neutral gelato base and blend for 2+ minutes 
  3. Allow to cool, add the amaretto and blend again 
  4. Then churn, decorate and store as you would normally
